If you have already got REHAU windows installed, you have nothing to worry about. We would like to give you a few useful tips in order to keep your windows in good conditions for a longer period of time.

The major advantage of REHAU windows is that they possess excellent sealing properties, thus preserving a significant amount of heat. However, in order to avoid negative effects, some measures need to be taken to prevent condensation and air staleness.

• Open your windows for a short period of time in order to let in the fresh air two to tree times a day, even in winter. This will not lead to the cooling of a room and is better than leaving a window ajar all day long.
• It is necessary to leave your windows open every morning for at least 20 minutes, to achieve maximum ventilation of all rooms.
• Leaving your windows open for 5 minutes during the day is sufficient to let the fresh air in.

Any debris left over after installation or manufacture should be removed with water or a liquid detergent. NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANING PRODUCTS, since they may cause scratching and damage.

Your windows does not need any special care. For maintenance of closing mechanisms its enough to lubricate them two times a year.
